Come together to nourish and support
Join us for a half-day retreat to step away from the noise and meet at a beautiful lake house in Reston to breathe, move, create art and make food together. If we’ve learned anything from this past year, it’s the realization that tending to our own self-care and nourishment is what best allows us to support our families, friends and fellow humans through life’s challenges. Now more than ever, coming together as a community, or sangha, provides the foundation for moving beyond the pandemic.
Ileana of Apurva Wellness and Maryam of Beloved Yoga have curated this retreat to nourish ourselves and nourish each other. We will contemplate the five elements, as well as explore the ideas of community, responsibility and commitment through collective mandalas! The afternoon will wrap up with a nourishing and delicious meal that we will prepare together.
Once you register, we will provide the address and also check in with dietary restrictions. The food is vegetarian and gluten-free (not made in a gluten-free kitchen). We will be spending most of the time outside by the lake, enjoying the sights, sounds, and smells of early summer. We also have a beautiful interior space in case of rain.
We are limiting this retreat to 8 people and we hope to make these offerings all summer long!
8-10 am: Care of the Whole Self Yoga
