This 8-hour course covers the core principles of Ayurveda as the sister science of Yoga. Yoga teachers and yoga teachers-in-training will come away understanding how key Ayurvedic daily practices, when combined with yoga and meditation, can enhance the Yoga experience, and improve overall health and wellbeing. Ayurveda defines wellbeing as harmony of the body, mind and higher Self. And exactly this drive to the Self connects this science to Yoga.
Any yogi can benefit from the ayurvedic daily routine; as teachers, we can guide our students to the appropriate practices. For example, knowing our doshas and how to balance them can help us customize our yoga practice for maximum results.
